TwinEngines attended ROKLive, June 13-16, 2022, in Orlando, Florida, the first combined event since last year’s merger of Rockwell Automation and Plex Systems.
Rockwell Automation, the leader in industrial automation, acquired Plex Systems, the leading SaaS smart manufacturing ERP platform, in 2021.
Kevin Seefried, president of TwinEngines was joined by the team of their client, First American Resources (FAR) to learn about the newest solutions, best practices, and strategies around digital transformation.
TwinEngines had recently helped to implement and integrate FAR’s Plex ERP system as part of FAR’s digital transformation, giving TwinEngines additional reason to learn about Rockwell’s plans for Plex.
“We’ve been working with Plex Systems for two years on the FAR project. While it was important to learn about the product, we were primarily interested to learn how Rockwell, a world-class MES system, would impact the Plex System solution,” explained Kevin Seefried. “We were interested to learn how Plex with Rockwell will now bring IT and OT together as an integrated platform.”
The Plex platform is designed to accelerate digital transformation, making it perfectly aligned with Rockwell Automation’s FactoryTalk offering. By merging IT and OT, Rockwell hopes to bring the benefits of a connected enterprise to both the front office and shop floor.
As a leader in Digital Transformation, TwinEngines is proud to bring digital transformation to small to mid-market manufacturers and supply chain companies.
